What happens after the free chess assessment?

Within 24 hours of your session, our team will contact you with a personalised programme recommendation based on what the coach observed. You can then choose to enrol, ask more questions, or simply keep the assessment report — with no pressure either way.

Does my child need to know chess already?

No. The free assessment is designed for complete beginners as well as children who already play. Our coaches are skilled at assessing any level — from a child who has never touched a chess piece to a student who already competes in tournaments.

How long is the free assessment session?

The session is 45 minutes long. It includes a warm-up conversation, a puzzle-based skill check, a short game with the coach, and a brief parent debrief at the end. Everything happens online via a secure video platform — no travel required.

What if my child doesn't enjoy the session?

That is fine — there is no obligation whatsoever. Our coaches are trained to make the session enjoyable for every age group, but if chess simply isn't the right fit for your child at this time, we will tell you honestly and wish you well. No hard sell, ever.
